The following files provide energy-related data that may be useful in analyses of hydrogen production, delivery, storage, and use in fuel cells.

• Natural Gas Pipelines in the United States - contains detailed county-level data on natural gas pipelines (current and proposed) by diameter class and ownership.
• US Refineries - Crude Oil Capacity (.xls) (excel, 50 KB) - contains crude oil distillation capacity (barrels per day) for US refineries, organized by state, for the years 2000 to 2005.
• Gasoline Stations by State (.xls) (excel, 24 KB) - contains data on the number of gasoline stations, by state, as well as sales (in dollars), payroll, and number of employees
.
• Petroleum Bulk Stations and Terminals by State (.xls) (excel, 28 KB) - contains state-level data on petroleum bulk stations and terminals including number of establishments, sales (in dollars), payroll, and number of employees.
• Alternative Fuel Stations (.xls) (excel, 1.0 MB) - lists individual stations providing alternative fuels such as propane, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), biodiesel, ethanol (E-85), and electric (vehicle charging).
• Coal Reserves by State (.xls) (excel, 26 KB) - contains data on recoverable reserves and demonstrated reserve base for underground and surface coal mines in the U.S., by state.
• U.S. Nuclear Capacity by State (.xls) (excel, 30 KB) - contains data on individual nuclear power generation facilities in the U.S., including capacity, generation in 2004, and reactor type.
